What you'll accomplish

By the end of this guide, you'll have a Claude Project set up with your most-used reference materials — protocol summaries, technique charts, ACR guidelines — so you can ask plain-language questions and get instant, accurate answers instead of hunting through binders or PDFs.

What you'll need

  • Claude account at claude.ai (free tier works; Pro at $20/mo gives larger document uploads)
  • De-identified reference documents you want to upload: protocol summaries, technique charts, ACR quick-reference guides, department policy summaries. Do not upload anything containing patient data (PHI).
  • Time needed: 30–45 minutes for initial setup; 5 minutes per document added later
  • Cost: Free (limited) / $20/month (Claude Pro — recommended for larger document libraries)
